I recently joined Affiliit a couple of months ago, and one of the techniques they discuss is pay per click advertising on Facebook.  Many people are making bank on Facebook now, and it really is a great way to make money online…provided you know what you are doing.  Luckily, the Affiliit training provides step by step guides on how to be successful with Facebook PPC and I have taken their lessons to heart in creating my own PPC campaigns.

To be successful with Facebook, you need to split test.  With Facebook, CTR% is the key to creating money making campaigns.  By using CPM bidding with a high CTR, you can get the cheap clicks you need to become profitable.  To do this, you need to split test all variations of your ads to see what converts the best.  This includes ad images, headlines, demographics, keywords and any other attribute you can think of.

The problem with doing this, is that it is a complete pain to to create all these variations.  The Facebook interface doesn’t make it easy to create your ads quickly.  An alternative to creating ads by hands is to use a script like Facebook Ad Manager from 4houraffiliate.com.  Although the script is pricy ($200) and sometimes buggy, it makes creating tons of ads a breeze.  Honestly, after buying the thing, I can’t imagine doing Facebook PPC without it.
